Chicken Flu: What Can We Perform About It?

10

A Little History

All of us continually get warnings of the Bird Flu pandemic. Up to now, all cases of Chicken Flu have come from connection with infected birds. Half of anyone who has contracted Bird Influenza has died.

There has been no human-to-human movement of the Bird Flu. The worry is that the virus will mutate to a form that will allow immediate human contact to pass the herpes virus.

The Bird Flu relates to the Flu of 1918 that started in the United States in our ports and then distributed through military camps, for instance, Fort Dodge, Iowa. Typically the pandemic was worldwide plus the death total exceeded associated with the then-current conflict, World War I, known as the Great War.

To read about the 1918 epidemic, go to  The most susceptible victims were those between the years of thirty and 40. The people were spared, as is believed with the Bird Flu.

My dad caught influenza in 1918. My cousin’s father died in England because he was near losing his life. He was tagged on his toe of the feet as a goner. Somehow, they recovered.

The flu recognized no boundaries. Hermits were found dead in the Pinus radiata Barrens of New Jersey and other remote locations. Hospital wards were crammed full, and morticians and grave diggers were in short supply. See the Stanford University URL for the gory details.

According to the Stanford University or college reference, school children jumped pieces of string to the following rhyme:

I had fashioned a little bird,
Its name ended up being Enza.
I typically opened the window,
And in-flu-Enza.

A bit of Flu Goes a Long Way.

Typically the influenza plague of 1918 was thought to have come from Spain, so it was referred to as the Spanish Flu. It happened in three cycles as it circled the earth again and again. Our reference point URL from Stanford University or college says that 80-90% of the population contacted the Spanish language Flu. Only two moved into islands escaped the flu virus. The article says that the flu murdered 50 out of every 1000 men and women, or 5% of the inhabitants throughout India. Scientists are typically studying the flu of 1918, given that they think it is similar to or equivalent to Bird Flu.

Last year, when we had a vital flu epidemic, I could not get a vaccine here in London. Last year, I didn’t possibly try. This is even though I’m in the high-risk category due to my age, the fact that I have had coronary bypass surgical treatment twice, and that I have the actual aortic valve of a typical donor pig. Most influenza strains attack the very aged old. The Bird Influenza hits those in the middle, the toughest, the 20-40-year-olds. I worry more about the grandchildren than I do regarding myself.

The fact that we were at war helped to distribute the flu in 1918. Well, we are in battle now. Let me ask a person this question; what do you believe our government will be able to perform before the Bird Flu strikes? Many don’t trust the federal government in emergencies. The actual attack on 9/11 arrived as a big surprise. The elements Service gave great caution on Katrina and other hurricanes, but the government’s response was pathetic. Osama Bin Packed is still eating Shish Kabob.

Assuming that some scientific group in a government, university, commercial, or private laboratory will not come up with a vaccine and that the vaccine can not be produced in very large groups before the Bird Flu starts to propagate from humans instead of from sick birds, what is going to you be able to do about this?

What is Your Community Doing?

See the article at disp/story.mpl/front/3847203.html] to learn what can be expected in Houston, The state of texas. The article does not typically reveal the Houston plan; it just affirms what would happen if the flu virus hit Houston. Usually, the hospitals would be jammed, typically, the doctors and nurses can be dressed in special biological hostilities gear, and there would be shortages of medicines to treat the patients.

One of the dangers of Pet bird Flu is subsequent pneumonia. I can’t think of an improved place to catch pneumonia compared to a hospital. I dealt with that last year when this hospital stay was 20 days instead of the 7-10 moment average recovery from a cardiovascular system valve replacement. The pesky insects I had were very difficult for you to kill, and I was taking antibiotics for two weeks as I got home. That may be a mute place. There will not be enough medical beds anyway.

According to Nobel laureate Linus Pauling, nutritional C in large dosages, 1-10 grams, can relieve flu symptoms. The medial side effects of flu tend to be what causes death. We take 2 grams associated with vitamin C each day. I get cold or flu symptoms; I make larger doses until the signs and symptoms disappear. Then I go back to the 2 grams to keep all of them away.

One thing we could perform would be to get rid of the archaic customized of shaking hands. Japan never shakes hands unless, of course, some American insists. These people bow. If they get chilly, they cover their encounters with medical masks.

Hacking, coughing, and handshaking are effective methods of sharing the actual flu with your neighbors. A few politicians and church frontrunners tired of suffering from constant colds and flu insects obtained from handshaking have medical wipes to clean their hands often after coming in contact with the public.

I suggest you stock up on hands wipes and vitamin D.

I suggest you wash your hands usually.

A public meeting can also be a sure place to get annoyed. Stay home if you have flu symptoms and are shhh, continually blowing your nostril, and have a fever started. I don’t care if it is your mood to speak in the religious organization; stay home.

If you are a high-risk like me, ask your doctor precisely what precautions you might take to protect against or treat the flu virus. You will not want to go into the office during a flu outbreak.

The agent causing the flu virus is a virus. We possess some drugs that might support this. Let’s hope there are plenty of drugs and vaccines to shield us. Some say that this sort of drug will be in short supply. I know that they will be.

Remember that when you hear that the Bird Flu virus is being passed from man to human rather than pet bird to human, STOP NERVOUS-LOOKING HANDS.
